I have been under the care of Mr Osman Farah since mid-2019 when I was diagnosed with Trigeminal Neuralgia caused by compression of the Trigeminal nerve by a Meningioma. Since the first time I met Mr Osman Farah in 2019 I felt reassured that I was in expert hands, and I have never had occasion to doubt that first impression since that time. Despite all the added difficulties presented by Covid-19 I have received several types of treatment to try to manage my rather complex condition. Eventually I opted for surgery to remove the Menigioma as the nerve pain was found to be resistant to all other forms of treatment offered. I never had a moment of hesitation or doubt about the utmost skill and professionalism possessed by this incredible man. I underwent surgery in March 2021 and faced some post-operative challenges due to persistent side-effects, which prompted two further admissions to the Walton Centre for remedial treatment. Never at any time did I feel that I was not receiving the utmost in specialist care and treatment. Mr Osman Farah and his whole team are absolutely committed and dedicated to their patients. During the whole time I was an inpatient, Mr Osman Farah made a point of coming to see me on the ward every single day - even though on more than one occasion it appeared that he was clearly off duty - he still made a point of checking upon my recovery personally. I am still under the care of this excellent Consultant Neurosurgeon, and I feel very privileged to be his patient, as my condition is still in need of annual monitoring via MRI scanning and observations. His calm and professional manner, and his never-ending patience in ensuring that the patient can ask questions and receive simple to understand informative answers is totally reassuring and much appreciated. During my hospital admissions I also observed how the rest of Mr Osman Farah's team obviously looked up to him and clearly appreciated being a part of his surgical team. I honestly cannot find any suggestions of how this doctor could make any improvements to give even greater care because the care I have received - and continue to receive, is 100%. His ability to put the patient at ease, with a ready smile and in a very clear manner makes him an absolutely outstanding healthcare professional. This has undoubtedly been the most serious condition I have encountered during my lifetime, and I feel that this incredible man has literally given me my life back and I feel blessed to remain under his care.

In May 2022 Mr Osman-Farah gave me my life back after having a elective lumber microdiscectomy operation, I cannot thank him and his team enough as I was in so much pain and discomfort they were so caring and explained everything to me before and after my op. I had been in a wheelchair for 4 months but after my op I could walk without pain again. Thank you all so much for your excellent care.

In June 2022 I had microvascular decompression surgery to treat my trigeminal neuralgia at the Walton Centre in Liverpool. The procedure was carried out by Mr Jibril Osman Farah. The operation was very successful and I have Mr Farah and his team to thank for giving me my life back. My medical condition and the various treatments available together with their risks were clearly explained to me by Mr Farah and his team in a compassionate and understanding way. From the very first consultation to the actual procedure Mr Farah put me at ease and made me feel that I was in very good hands. I would highly recommend Mr Jibril Osman Farah and his team.

The Walton neuroglial team are truly world class. MRgFUS was utilised for essential tremor on my dominant hemisphere. Administrative functions are efficient with effective planning to minimise visits. All aspects including pre-assessment, treatment and post assessment were professionally executed. I felt calm and reassured throughout especially during the procedure. Clinical excellence is evident under the leadership of Mr Farah. As the expected side-effects subside it is evident that the quality of my life has improved dramatically. Thank you so much. Mr Farah and his team at The Walton centre were excellent when I had my Microvascular decompression in July 2021 , everything was explained to me clearly every step of the way before after my procedure . The Nursing staff were also excellent during my stay nothing was too much trouble even though they were under extra pressure due to Covid . The follow up consultations have been thorough Mr Farah addressed my concerns & made referrals to his colleagues in other departments to help with my post op hearing / balance issues. I highly recommend Mr Farah & The Walton centre
